Installation Requirements
Heater Mounting
RECOMMENDED
hanging equipment needed to install the heater.
In all cases, check with local codes for seismic bracing requirements for outdoor heating
equipment.
In these instructions we illustrate installation with angles and a combination of angles and
turnbuckles. Other methods such as chain and appropriate bracing can be incorporated as an
alternative. The heater must be prevented from swaying and putting stress on the gas connection.
The installer is responsible for adequate bracing.
Close all open ended S hooks and turnbuckles to avoid unhooking chain with inadvertent
contact.
Note:
Minimum mounting height is 7’ in Canada and 8’ in the US.
