BergHOFF recommends propane gas as fuel for our BBQ’s, as propane supplies the best heating condition for BBQ’s. Therefore,
this BBQ is equiped with a propane regulator 37 mbar. Not included is the LP gas tank. This can be obtained from your nearest gas
retailer. Although using butane gas is possible by adjusting/changing the gas regulator, we strongly recommend to stick to propane
gas, as the complete manual is based on the better performing propane gas.
If you still insist on changing to butane gas, please contact your local gas retailer for the adjustment of the existing regulator or for
a suitable butane gas regulator (28-30 mbar) and for the correct assembly of the regulator. The regulator and the assembly should
comply with EN 12864 (according current version and national regulation.)
