Water So ness or Hardness
When the Benson Global Heat Pump system is installed in areas of Heavily Mineralized Water or a
un
fi ltered supply, such as a Dam, Spring, Bore, River or other water supply’s we require the water to be
tested and/or Water tank storage exceeds the following limits, the system may have problems with
corrosion of the systems components and void the warranty.
Total dissolved solids 600 parts per million
Total hardness 200 parts per million
Chloride 250 parts per million
Sodium 150 parts per million
Magnesium 10 parts per million
Electrical conduc vity 850µS/cm (Micro seimens per er)
pH level Minimum 6.5 and Maximum 8.5
Warranty Period 5 Years Domes c and 1 Year Commercial
Terms and condi ons
1/ The system must be installed by Licensed Plumber and/or Electrician and be installed to all
state and Territory regula ons.
2/ The system must be operated and maintained as per the instruc s supplied
3/ The warranty covers the Benson Global system only and not any addi onal parts supplied
during the installa on including the tank.
4/ Warranty is from the date of the original purchase, if parts are replaced during this period the
system is
l only warranted from the original purchase date. Proof of purchase is required
before warranty can be carried out.
5/ In areas were sediment maybe a problem fi lters are recommended on the tank supply main
feed and regular fl ushing of the system must be carried out for system e ffi ciency.
6/ Regular warranty has a travel limit of 20km from the closest service agent, any distances over
this are covered at the owners expense.
7/ Benson Global is excluded by the extent of the law from any conseque al loss including; pain
and su
ffering, injury to person or persons, damage to property, economic loss, legal or other
