8/ Heat exchanger is a triplex type, in the event of a water leak or refrigerant leak the system is
fi ed with a leak hole to atmosphere.
9/ The system must be install to AS/NZS 3500.4 and all relevant state and territory regulations.
10/ Defrost/deice occurs as the heat pump is absorbing heat from the atmosphere and at low
ambient condi ons frost or ice may form. The system will autom cally manage this as
follows:

defrost point is set at -8`C it must be -8`C for 30seconds, this checked from 35 minutes to
one hour of con nues opera on
2
nd
defrost point is set at -4`C it must be at -4`C for 3 minutes, this is checked from 35 minutes
of compressor opera on ues or accumu ve me.
3
rd
defrost point is set at -2`C it must be at -2`C for 3 minutes, this is checked from 35 minutes
of compressor opera on ues or accumu ve me.
All subsequent points are set at the 3
rd
defrost point sequence.
11/ So Star g is required in all system to a maximum of 45amps inrush, this should be compliant to most
State or Territory star g current regula ons
