Factory Reset
A factory reset restores your speaker to its default state and clears it of all
stored information including wireless connection information, Bluetooth
pairing information, preset channels, and firmware upgrades. To perform a
factory reset for your speaker follow the steps below.
Troubleshooting
1. Press and hold the AUX/RCA and Wi-Fi buttons for 5 seconds.
2. The control panel will display a message asking if you want to perform a
factory reset. Press the Wi-Fi button to confirm that you want to reset
your speaker. Your speaker will begin the factory reset process, this
process may take a few minutes.
3. Once the reset is complete your speaker will restart and the control
panel will return to its normal on-screen display.
Problem
Solution
Speaker will not
turn on
•Make sure you are using the BenQ power cord shipped
with the speaker.
•Make sure the speaker connects to a working AC outlet
for operation.
Unable to pair
the speaker
with my
Bluetooth
®
device
•Make sure your speaker is discoverable.
•Make sure Bluetooth
®
is enabled on your device.
•Make sure you have selected “
treVolo A
” in the
Bluetooth
®
device list on your device and the
connection has been confirmed by your device.
•Turn off all other adjacent Bluetooth
®
devices or disable
their Bluetooth
®
functionality if possible.
•Make sure your device supports the A2DP profile.
•Unplug all the cables and electrical cords. Then press
and hold the power button for
7
seconds or more to
force the speaker to shut down. Turn on the speaker
and pair with your device.
