Memory channel

CTCSS/DCS

CTCSS/DCS can prevent you from rec eivi ng unwanted call from the same

channel . CTCSS/DCS is the sub -audi o tone, 50 groups CTCSS/107 groups

DCS can be sel ected.

Note: CTCSS/DCS can not guarantee privacy of your talk, but can only

prevent you from receiving unwanted call i n the same channel .

▪Using CTCSS/DCS

Press [F], [6] keys to turn on/off CTCSS/DCS. Seven CTCSS/DCS modes can

be sel ected.

OFF: NO CTCSS/DCS i n TX and RX

TONE: TX CTCSS only

CTCSS: CTCSS both i n TX and RX

DCODE: TX DCS only

DCS: DCS both i n TX and RX

TDCS: CTCSS for TX, and DCS for RX

DTSQL: DCS for TX and CTCSS for RX

Note : When CTCSS/DCS turns on, an i con “CT” appears, when DCS turns on,

an icon “DCS” appears.
