channel number.
▪Battery save function (BATSAV)
Battery save functi on allows reduce power consumpti on by reducing receiver
circui try when there is no si gnal received, a nd prol ong the usi ng time of radi o.
It is turned off when squelch functi on is activated or any key is pressed.
Set it through Menu 4, ON/OFF, an icon “SAVE” appears when battery save
functi on is on.
▪Busy channel lock (BCLO)
BCLO will prevent you from transmitting i n the busy channel which i s bei ng
used to avoid i nterferi ng other radios worki ng i n the same channel . Set it
through Menu 5 to turn on/off.
▪Keypad beep tone (BEEP)
A “beep” tone will sound whenever any key is pressed. Set i t through Menu 6
to turn on/off.
