Description and setting of function menu
Auto power off (APO)
Auto power off functi on is a background feature, which monitors whether the
key or knob is turned. APO will shut off the power when there is no operation
withi n the pre-determi ned time. One minute before shutti ng off the power,
“APO” will blink, an d a seri es of al ert tone sounds.
Set i t through Menu 1 (APO), turn ON (1 -15 hours) or OFF.

When APO turns on, if squelch is turned on or any setting has been
changed withi n pre-set time, the timer will be reset. When the squelch
is turned off, or you stop changi ng any setti ng, the timer starts from 0
again.
Voice mode (APRO)
Set i t through menu 2, two modes are availabl e.
1) COMP: voice compounder.
2) SCRAMB: voice scrambl er.
Channel divisi on (BANK)
When channel divisi on functi on i s used, the stored channels will
automatically i dentify the group and displ ay the correspondi ng channel group,
allowi ng you to sel ect your desired channel quickly. Two sel ecti ng modes are
availabl e.
1) BANK : Turn on channel divisi on function.

128 channels will be divi ded i nto 8 groups.

Channel 1-16 will displ ay BANK 1

Channel 17-32 will displ ay BANK 2
