Recalling a phone number
In this menu you can search for a phone number
stored in your phone book. You can also add
names to the phone book.
•You can key in the desired name or its initials
and press
-
READ
. Do it this way if you wish to
search for a number already stored in the phone
book, especially if your phone book list is very
long. The first line in the phone book will show
the desired phone number or its closest
matches.
•Or, you can press
-
READ
directly. Do it this
way if your phone book list is quite short or you
wish to add (store) a new phone number in your
phone book. The first line in the phone book
will offer you the option
New .
A list of all names in the phone book is shown.
If Fixed dialling is turned on, the numbers dis-
played here are the numbers stored in FDN phone
book. The names are listed in alphabetical order.
You can scroll through the name list with
n
. Scroll-
ing over the top to the bottom is possible.
