4.0 Fixing the Appliance - Cable Fixing System.

The appliance can be installed using the wire ﬁxing kit. This type of ﬁxing is shown in the
following picture. The ﬁBng system comprises four (4) eyebolts, two (2) ﬁxing cables, two (2)
screwed nipples and two (2) adjuster ﬁBngs.

This installaon requires that the burner tray is removed from the ﬁrebox. Remove the screws
securing the burner tray to the ﬁrebox (for details see page 40-42) and set the tray aside during
the ﬁrebox installaon.

Simply drill and ﬁt the eyebolts then thread the ﬁxing cables through the two small holes at the
top/rear of the appliance, pass each cable through the two holes as shown—this will secure the
cable. Thread the cable through the eyebolts and back into the appliance. When the appliance
is in its installed posion, pull the cables ght and slide the adjusters to the back of the ﬁre—
ensuring the back-nut on the adjuster has been run as far up the thread as possible to the
hexagon shoulder. Keeping the cable ght, ﬁt the screwed nipple to the cable and secure. Turn
the back-nut on the adjuster ﬁxing and the cable will be tensioned unl the appliance is
securely ﬁxed.

The foam seal which is supplied with the appliance should be aﬃxed to the rear face of the
ﬂange.
