HANDSET Controls
2. Large LCD Screen:
Shows call information, phone status, prompts and DIRECTORY
(PHONE BOOK) items.
3. /Mute Button:
(Menu) Press to access
the special functions operation in STANDBY
mode.
(Mute) Used to temporarily mute the
HANDSET
microphone.

Button:
Press to answer an incoming call or place a call. Press to end a call.
5.
Press to automatically dial the Voice Mail Post Code in your area to access your
Voice Mail message
6. HEADSET JACK:
For connecting your headset plug to enjoy hands-free communication.

7 TELEPHONE KEYPAD to Buttons
: Allows you to make a call depending on
the pressed button. (For TELEPHONE KEYPAD characters, see page 17.)

TEMPORARY TONE Button:
Press to temporarily change the DIALING mode from
PULSE to TONE for Rotary Service Users. (Press once before entering numbers to access
the answering system or electronic banking services, etc.)

/Flash Button:
(EDIT) Press to edit listed items. (FLASH) Press to answer a call if
you have Call Waiting.

11. SCROLL UP-DOWN Button:
Press to move around the large LCD Screen.

Button
: Used to review Caller ID information stored in memory.

(DIRECTORY PHONE BOOK)/SAVE Button: (DIRECTORY)
Press to access names
and numbers stored in the DIRECTORY(PHONE BOOK).(See pages 14 to 19 for details.)
(SAVE) Press to save the changes on the listed items.

/Delete/Pause Button:
(REDIAL) Press to redial the last number you dialed.
(DELETE) Press and hold down to delete items or just press to delete individual characters.
(PAUSE) Press to insert a pause while dialing. (You will need the
/Delete/Pause
button to dial numbers which use an alternative Long Distance Access Code.)
15. HANDSET Ring Control (HI, MID, LOW) Switch:
Select the receiver ring level (HI, MID,
OFF).

SHIFT RIGHT Button:
Press to view the right part of the display and move the
cursor right when editing.
17.
(CHANNEL)/OPTION Button:
(CHANNEL) Press to change the operating channel
when you hear interference. (OPTION) Press to change the displayed telephone number to
7, 10, or 11 digit DIALING mode during Caller ID callback.
18. CHARGE CONTACTS:
For charging the BATTERY PACK inside the
HANDSET
. We
recommend cleaning the CHARGE CONTACTS periodically with a damp cloth.
