Local Testing

Local testing uses a field laptop computer with terminal emulation software. In
local testing, a field operator uses commands such as the one described in

“Commissioning Process” on page 53

to verify parameters and make

adjustments as required.

After all the units are adjusted, then the unit containing the gateway is
connected to the network backbone.
