Setting up a network connection via LAN cable

Your device requires a network connection with 
myBEGO in order to acquire the desired indications.

1.

Plug the LAN cable into the Ethernet socket on 
the back of the VARSEO S. 

2.

Connect the other end of the LAN cable with 
the "LAN" socket of your router / network con-
nector.

3.

Switch the VARSEO S on with the power 
switch located on the right side of the device. 
The BEGO software will be loaded.

4.

Select the language.

5.

Press the LAN button.

6.

Check under "Settings" > "User Menu" > "Net-
work" if the entries are correct.  LAN and 
DHCP must be activated! 
Button 1: Selection "LAN" or "WLAN"
Button 2: Selection "DHCP" or "Static"

7.

If DHCP is not supported by your network, use 
the expert mode "Static". Please consult an IT 
expert to that end.

NOTE

The VARSEO S device must be switched off.

NOTE

Only connect the VARSEO S via LAN or WLAN; 
otherwise, the host name cannot be clearly 
allocated! Contact an IT expert, if needed.

NOTE

If your network supports DHCP, the VARSEO S 
will automatically connect with your network. 
The device will display an error message if no 
connection could be established between the 
network and the device.
