2.3.2 Modification of antenna connection for installation in a vehicle
The antennae connection is fitted on the front panel as standard. When fitting in a vehicle using the unit
mounting bracket, it is best to mount the antenna connection on the rear. To do this remove both half
shells and remove the bolts attaching the antenna socket to the front panel. Remove the cover on the
back and fit the antennae socket. Then fit the cover to the front panel.
2.3.3 Connecting an external PTT or foot PTT switch
The PTT switch is connected to the microphone connecting socket front panel) pin 5 (PTT) and pin 1
(ground).
