• Avoid any contact of the skin with the hot parts of the appliance.
• Do not use the hair crimper with artificial hair.
• Disconnect the appliance while not in use.
• Do not wrap the cable around the appliance.
• Don’t allow children play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
• IMPORTANT: The appliance reaches a high temperature. Always manipulate the appliance
holding it exclusively by the handle and the tips.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• ( ) Do not use near the water container in baths, sinks or other containers.
• When it is used in a bathroom it must be disconnected after its use. The proximity of water always
represents a danger.
• In case of an accidentally inserting into water, do not try to catch it. Unplug it immediately.
• Take care the cable doesn’t touch the hot areas.
• To ensure a greater protection it is recommendable to install, in the electrical circuit of your
bathroom, a residual current differential device (DDR) of assigned differential current function
which does not exceed 30 mA. Ask your technician for advice.
• The plug must be accessible when using the appliance.
• This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done by children unless supervision.
• If the cable was damaged, it must be changed by an Authorised Service Centre.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Turn the swing support (5) to leave the appliance on the table. Place it in a flat and heat resistant
surface.
• Turn the temperature selector (3) to one or other direction to choose the desired temperature.
The indication showed in the selector will give you the temperature position.
• Plug into the mains and slide the switch (1) to the “
I
” on position. The indicator (2) will light on
in
“red”
color and the appliance will start heating.
• Wait until the indicator (2) change to
“green”
color. At this moment the appliance has reached
the selected temperature.
• Before using the appliance ensure your hair is clean with no hairspray or other chemical hair
products.
• Separate your hair into locks of approximately 8-9 cm. wide and comb them carefully.
• Press the clip pusher (4) to open it, insert the hair ends of the locks in the clip and release the
pusher.
• Turn the curler in one or the other sense (depending of the shape you want for the curl) and keep
it for a few seconds in the desired position.
• Press the clip pusher (4) to remove the curler.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning it, be sure the appliance is cold and disconnect from the mains.
• Use a slightly damp cloth and try to dry it well afterwards.
• Do not use chemical or abrasives, metal scourers, and the such which may deteriorate the surfaces
of the appliance.
• Wait for the iron to be totally cold before you put it away.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the
environment.
