12) Water Resistant IP54 Rating

The Terra 800 has an Ingress Protection (IP) 
rating of 54. When installing the Terra 800 it is 
important that the following steps are taken to 
ensure the protection is maintained.

1. 

The rear cover of the Terra 800 must be 
screwed down with all six screws to ensure the 
waterproof seal is achieved (indicated by ‘a’) 

2. 

Care should be taken when placing the cables 
in the respective cable guides as any damage 
to the sealing foam (indicated by ‘b’) will 
compromise the water resistant foam seal.
