Connecting the handsets

Connecting the POTS/RJ 11 Handsets

1. Plug the telephone, answering machine or cordless phone into the Line or

Accessory Socket RJ11. It is important to note that Facsimile Messaging is not
supported on the Iridium Network via a standard RJ11 connection.

2. The Line & Accessory sockets work in parallel

Connecting an Intelligent RST970 Handset ( Optional Item )

1. Connect to the Iridium Intelligent Handset, if supplied, directly to the Handset

socket of the RST100 main terminal.

It is recommended to use only the extension cables for this handset provided.
Longer cables up to 30 metres are available.
