WARNING
• Never service heater while it is plugged in, connected to propane
supply, operating or hot. Severe burns and electrical shock can occur.
• Keep heater clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline and
other flammable vapors and liquids.
• Do not block the flow of combustion or ventilation air.
Maintenance
1. Keep heater clean. Clean heater annually or as needed to remove
dust and debris. If heater is dirty or dusty, clean heater with a damp
cloth. Use household cleaners on difficult spots.
2. Inspect heater before each use, and the heater should be inspected
at least annually by a qualified service person. Check connections
for leaks. Apply mixture of liquid soap and water to connections.
Bubbles forming show a leak. Correct all leaks at once.
3. Inspect hose/regulator assembly before each use. If it’s evident theirs
is excessive abrasion or wear, or the hose is cut, it must be replaced
prior to the heater put into operation. The replacement hose assem-
bly shall be that specified by the manufacturer.
4. Have heater inspected yearly by a qualified service agency.
5. The appliance area are be keep clear and free from combustible
materials, and other flammable vapors and liquids.
6. The flow of combustion and ventilation air shall not be obstructed.
VENTILATION
Always provide a fresh air opening in the heated space of at least three
square feet (2,800 sq. cm.) for each 100,000 BTU/br of heater output.
• A two-car garage door open 6 inches.
• A single car garage open 9 inches.
• Two thirty two inch wide windows open 15 inches.
