Advanced Menu
Select the “Advanced” tab from the BIOS menu screen to enter the Advanced BIOS Setup screen.
NOTE: Take caution when change the settings of the Advanced menu items.
Incorrect field values can cause the system not to function properly.

CPU Configuration
This menu provides CPU related information and settings.
3.7.1.1
Intel (VMX) Virtualization Technology
When enabled, a VMM can utilize the additional hardware capabilities provided by
Vanderpool Technology.
3.7.1.2
Active Processor Cores
Number of cores to enable in each processor package.
3.7.1.3
Hyper-Threading
Enabled for Windows and Linux (OS optimized for Hyper-Threading Technology). Disabled
for other OS (OS not optimized for Hyper-Threading Technology).
3.7.1.4
Intel® SpeedStep™
Allows more than two frequency ranges to be supported.
3.7.1.5
C States
Enable/Disable CPU Power Management. Allows CPU to go to C states when it’s not 100%
utilized.
3.7.1.6
Enhanced C-States
Enable/Disable C1E. When enabled, CPU will switch to minimum speed whn all cores enter
C-State.

Package C State Limit
Maximum Package C State limit setting.
CPU Default: Leaves to factory default value.
Auto: Initializes to deepest available package C State limit.
