Electrical Power
The machine has been preset to the voltage specified on the rating plate
prior to delivery. The customer is responsible to furnish the connection
the mains supply per the documentation of the electrical drawings. The
backup fusing on the installation side must be in accordance with the
values specified in the connection schedule drawing at

The machine
must only be plugged into a grounded socket.

The customer is
responsible to supply compressed air pipeline or hose to the connection
point.
19.9
Coolant Pipeline Connections
Coolant pipelines are specified in the installation specific Piping
Installation Drawings supplied with the machine. For all models of Chip
Separators with Transfer Tank, please note on the drawings the
recommendation of a customer supplied automated valve (1”, NC) to be
installed on the coolant supply line from the Microseparator™ to the
generator and the integration of the valve with the control panel of the
Chip Separator. Installation of this valve prohibits coolant to the
generator if the Pump Station is in a powered off state.
19.9.1
Dirty Coolant Drain from the Generator
Typical generator drain connections are 100mm to allow lenses to pass
unobstructed. Maintain the full drain pipe diameter from the generator
the the Chip Separator. The drain should have minimum turns and no
restrictions in diameter. DN100 pipe or US 4” with mating flexible rubber
connection with hose clamp at the generator is common.
19.10
Retrieval of Deblocked Lenses
The Chip Separator incorporates a safety air limit switch to disable the
pneumatic armature of the Chip Separator. Do not mechanically bypass
the safety switch and do not operate the Machine if the device is not
functioning.
