IPX STATIC ROUTES Static routes can be added to establish secure
connections and limited access to facilities
from remote sites.
To Add an IPX Path [click] the ADD button.
To Edit an IPX Path [click] the EDIT button.
Insert the Address of the Remote Networks.
IPX NET FILTER IPX Network Traffic can be filtered. This
prevents access to certain routes, and
destinations.
Note: If no entry is made in these tables, the entire network will be
accessible to all Authenticated connections from the particular path.
If only one address/or filter is entered that will be the limitation of
access.
Note: Filter pairs are treated on a Forward On Match basis and are only
associated with the Account they are configured on while the Session
is active.
To Add a IPX Filter for a path [click] the ADD button.
To Edit a IPX Filter for a path [click] the EDIT button.
To Delete a IPX Filter for a path, [click] on the path to highlight it and [click]
the DELETE button.
IPX SAP FILTER IPX SAPs (Service Advertising Packets) can
be filtered. This prevents both access to and
knowledge of unauthorised addresses by
remote sites. It also reduces the transmission
overhead of the SAP broadcasts being sent to
a site.
