should be in the “Continuous - Green” state.
7. Hit any key on the VT 100 Terminal, or on the PC keyboard. The “Enter
Password” screen should be displayed.
8. Type
PASSWORD (in upper case) followed by the Return Key <CR> or
the Enter Key. The CLAM Main Menu should be displayed. The
message “Do you wish to run Quick Setup now? (y/n) [n] :” should be
displayed on the bottom line of the screen (the Command Line).
9. Press
N (or n or <CR> or the Enter Key) to terminate the Quick Setup
script. The Command Line should now display “Enter Command :”.
10. Type

11. Change the Name parameter from “NoConfig” to WATFORD_CLAM.
12. Change the IPX Routing parameter from “NO” to “YES”.
Note that IP Routing is “YES”, i.e. enabled, by Default, but IPX Routing is
“NO”, i.e. disabled, by Default.
13. For security reasons it is advisable that the Unit Password be changed
from the default of “PASSWORD” to something else.
Note that the new password must be kept in a safe place in case it is forgotten.
There is no backdoor password on Nautica units. If the password is forgotten
the unit must be placed in the Default state, which will erase any previous
configuration stored on the unit.
The “Update System Parameters” form should now be exactly the same as that
shown at the top of the next page.
