TCP/IP Operations
118814-A Rev. A

Issue 1
When you first install a Nautica router there will be only one
route showing in the IP Routes window, the route for LAN01.
You cannot edit or delete the LAN01 route; it is a system
generated route and points to the way to the local network.
As you start using the Nautica 200, other routes appear in this
screen. These are also system generated and point the way to
other networks that you have called.
Adding and Editing Routes
Occasionally you may want to place a call to a remote unit for
which you have no direct route. In these instances you can create
your own static routes. Static routes remain in the IP Routes
window. They are the only routes you can add, edit or delete.
Adding Routes
To add an IP route, do the following:
1.
In the Nautica Wizard main window (
page 6-6
), click on
the unit for which you want to add a route.
2.
Click on
Advanced > TCP/IP > Routes
.
3.
Click on the Add button.
4.
The Add/Edit IP routes window will appear (

).
Editing Routes
To edit an existing route (that you have created yourself):
1.
In the Nautica Wizard main window (
page 6-6
), click on
the unit that contains the route you want to edit.
2.
Click on
Advanced > TCP/IP > Routes
.
3.
Click on the route you wish to edit in the IP Routes
window (
page 12-2
) and click on the Edit button.
4.
The Add/Edit IP routes window will appear (
