A time value for the Link Control Protocol (LCP)
Instructions:
Enter a time value here in seconds. The value represents
the time in seconds after which LCP will attempt to
re-establish a connection with a remote unit if a response
has been lost. This option works in conjunction with
MPPP.

Function:
The time in seconds in which the LCP will attempt to
re-establish if no response has been received from the
remote unit
Parameter:
CHAP Timeouts
Default:
60 seconds
Options:
A time in seconds
Function:
The time in seconds after which a CHAP challenge will
be made by the unit
Instructions:
Enter a time, in seconds, into this field. The time
represents the amount of time after which a CHAP
challenge may be sent to a remote unit on active PPP
connections.
