INSTRUCTIONS FOR FITTERS

To ensure the storage boilers work regularly and cost-effectively, they should be checked approximately once a year.
These operations must be performed by authorised Service Engineers. In particular, it must be checked:
• That the coil of the storage boiler is not covered in scale as this would compromise heat exchange efficiency.
• That the anode protecting the storage boiler is intact. In any case, it should be replaced (as described below) every year
to extend the lifetime of the storage boiler.
When filling the circuit for the first time, any air must be vented.
To do this, operate the two pumps (system circulation and storage boiler coil circuit) alternately.
Repeat the operation several times if necessary.

Replacing the protective anode of the storage boiler
To replace the protective anode, proceed as follows:
• Pull up the cover and remove.
• Close the cold water inlet to the storage boiler and drain it as described in § 6 of the manual for users.
• Unscrew the anode and replace.
Cleaning the storage boiler coil
• Close the cold water inlet to the storage boiler and drain it as described in § 6 of the manual for users.
• Unscrew the six screws and remove the upper flange.
• Clean the turns of the coil using a brush and remove the residues with a vacuum cleaner.
