6. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The storage boiler is supplied standard with an NTC DHW priority probe.
This probe must be connected to the relative boiler terminal block using the cable with 6-pin connector supplied with the
storage boiler (also consult the boiler instructions manual for fitters).
To connect, proceed as follows:
BOILER
6.1 MOUNTING THE CABLE WITH 6-POLE CONNECTOR IN THE BOILER
• Disconnect the boiler from the mains power supply using the two-pole switch.
• Remove the boiler cover by pulling it up and open the door at the front by pulling on its corners.
• Remove the screws securing the control strip and turn it towards the front.
• Remove the screws and take out the electrical system housing.
• Connect the 5-pin cable supplied with the boiler unit to the A8 connector on the electronic board and to terminals 1
and 2 on the Terminal block M2 (black - red cable), after removing the heating element. Then connect the earth faston
(see figure 3).
• Move one of the two ends of the yellow “DHW programmer” jumper from terminal 5 to terminal 6 on the terminal block
M2 (enable DHW function).
• Thread the cable through the relative grommets and fix the 6-pin connector to the rear of the boiler with the supplied
screws, after removing the connector covers (figure 3).
