INSTRUCTIONS FOR USERS
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
5. FILLING THE SYSTEM AND STORAGE BOILER COIL CIRCUIT
The operation of the storage boiler depends on the operation of the boiler, the lighting instructions of which are contained
in the related user manual.
When the boiler serves the storage boiler (production of domestic hot water) the green LED on the boiler control strip
lights up (5).
Winter mode
• Adjust the ambient thermostat to the required temperature.
• Turn the dial of the boiler heating water adjustment knob (2) until it reaches the required heating mode.
• Turn the dial of the boiler DHW adjustment knob (3) to the desired value for DHW. The adjustment range is from 10 - 65 °C.
• Turn the summer/winter selecter of the boiler (1) to “Winter”
.
With the summer/winter selector in the “Winter” position, after the water contained in the storage boiler reaches the se-
lected temperature (DHW priority), the boiler automatically switches to serve the heating system.
Summer mode
• Turn the dial of the boiler DHW adjustment knob (3) to the desired value for DHW.
• Turn the summer/winter selecter of the boiler (1) to “Summer”
.
To perform this operation, consult the boiler user manual and § 8 of the storage boiler fitters manual.

6. DRAINING THE STORAGE BOILER
Drain the storage boiler by opening the tap at the bottom which is accessed by opening the front door of the appliance.
To perform this operation, connect the tap to a drain using a hose, as described below:
• Close the cold water inlet tap on the storage boiler.
• Open a hot water tap as near as possible to the storage boiler.
• Attach the hose to the connector on the mouth of the tap.
• Slowly unscrew the ring nut of the tap.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO DRAIN THE STORAGE BOILER USING THE DOMESTIC HOT WATER CIRCUIT
SAFETY VALVE.
If the heating system is not used during winter and in case of danger of freezing, drain the water in the storage boiler as
described in the previous paragraph (for the system follow the instructions in the boiler user manual).
In any case, the boiler is fitted with a DHW antifreeze system. When the DHW is set to minimum, the electronic controller
keeps it at 5°C.
To ensure the storage boiler remains safe and in perfect working order, at the end of each season, during scheduled boiler
maintenance, have the appliance inspected by an authorised service engineer.
Careful servicing ensures economical operation of the system.
Do not clean the outer casing of the appliance with abrasive, aggressive and/or easily flammable cleaners (e.g.: petrol,
alcohol, and so on). Always switch off the appliance before cleaning it.
