Configuration of the WAN port.
General
•
SIM PIN
Pin code for the installed SIM card. If the SIM pin is disabled,
the entered SIM pin will not be sent.
•
Additional AT
AT commands that will be executed at startup. Only certain
AT-commands are allowed, others are discarded.
PPP
•
PPP Authentication type
Choice between CHAP and PAP (Challenge or
Password Authentication Protocol). PAP&CHAP
accepts both CHAP and PAP connections. At this
moment only PAP&CHAP can be used.
•
APN
Access Point Network name, depends on the service
provider, see SIM card documentation.
•
APNUN
APN username, some carriers use a user name and
password for authentication, should be provided by
the
the carrier.
•
APNPW
APN Password, see APNUN
•
MRU
Maximum Receive Unit size, max size of one packet
received, standard is 1500 which is the maximum of
an Ethernet packet payload.
•
MTU
Maximum Transmission Unit size, max size of a
packet sent, standard is 1492 which is the maximum
PPP packet size. Using a bigger size can cause
fragmentation and reassembly during transmission.
