5. Locating on a non-solid floor will inevitably result in some operational noise, if possible place
the appliance on a solid surface.
6. Do not place the appliance on deep pile carpet, if it is to be placed on short pile carpet ensure
that the levelling feet are adjusted to allow air to circulate beneath the appliance.
7. Before connecting the appliance to new pipe work or to pipe work that has not been used for
some time it is important that sufficient water is run off to flush out any debris that may have
acumulated in the pipes.
8. For plumbed-in appliances, a drainage standpipe is installed that will allow the discharge hose
to be hooked into the open tod end.
9. To fit the décor door: use the template on the back of the appliance door and drill holes (see
Fig. 12). Fit support brackets in position shown (Fig. 13). Open the appliance door and fit décor
door in position shown (Fig. 14). Open the appliance door with décor door and fix in position
with 4 screws (Fig. 15).
10. Fit unit kicking strip and check clearance with door by opening fully. If necessary trim the strip
as per Fig. 16.
11. Once installation is correct, fix appliance to worktop (Fig. 16).
12. The dishwasher comes factory set to hold a door of approximately 5 kilos. Further adjustment,
if required should be carried out by a competent person, of the tension to the door can be aces-
sed through removal of the side panels.
