INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLER
This appliance must be installed by a competent person, in accordance with the current version of
the following UK Regulations and Safety Standards or their European Norm replacements:
Building Regulations
(issued by the Department of Environment)
Building standards
(issued by the Scottish Development Department)
IEE Wiring Regulations
Electricity at Work Regulations
UK Water Bylaws and EN50084
POSITIONING THE APPLIANCE
The appliance has been designed to be plumbed into the cold water supply and drainage system.
The appliance must not be connected to a mixer tap, a single outlet water heater or a booster
pump. If it is not possible to connect directly to the rising water main, it may be possible to use
the cold water storage system providing a minimum height of 5m exists between the appliance
inlet and the bottom surface of the storage tank.
Please also refer to “Drainage Requirements” section page 15 and Fig. 17.
Any alteration to existing plumbing must be in accordance with current regulations.
PRE-COMMISSIONING THE APPLIANCE
When unpacked, check that the following parts are included with the appliance:
•
Baumatic Instruction Book.
•
Cold water hose, two sealing washers and the drain hose bearer.
•
Condensation protection barrier.
•
Décor door fitting template and fittings.
INSTALLATION NOTES
1. Refer to Figures 8 and 9 for built-in dimensions.
2. Remove the plastic wrap and polystyrene protection.
3. Fit the steam guard to the underside of the worktop (see Fig. 10)
4. Level the appliance by adjusting the height of the four feet as necessary (see Fig 11). Failure
to level the appliance will result in unstable operation.
