WARNING!
Remove the battery from the tool before making any adjustments,
cleaning, service or maintenance, as well as when transporting it and when it is
not in use. Removing the battery will prevent accidental starting of the tool,
which could cause serious injury.
NOTE:
To prevent serious injury, always remove the battery and keep your hands
away from the lock and unlock button when moving or transporting the tool.
Slide the battery pack into the tool base (Fig. 1). Keep in mind that the battery
has rails that allow it to fit into the tool in only one way. Make sure that the
battery fits into place and that it is secured in the tool before use.
Improper installation of the battery can damage its internal components.
Press the release button on the top of the battery (Fig. 2). While holding down the
release button, remove it from the tool.
