clearing a Jam

1.  If the LED Indicator is flashing red, it indicates 

there is a jam in the Magazine.  Stop and 
clear the jam before proceeding.

2.  Remove the Battery Pack.

3.  Open the Magazine by pressing the 

release Latch and sliding it open.

4.  Remove the nail strip and jammed fastener.

5.  Reinstall the nail strip and Battery Pack.  Close 

the Magazine.  If the jam has been corrected, 
the LED Indicator will no longer be illuminated.  
If the LED is still flashing then the jam may 
be in the internal striking mechanism.

6.  Remove the Battery Pack and nail strip.

7.  Using the included 3mm Hex Key, remove the 

four crews located next to the Depth Knob.

8.  Remove the Drive Guide and jammed fastener.

9.  Reattach the Drive Guide with the four 

screws.  Use the Hex Key to tighten.

10. Make sure the Workpiece Contact 

moves smoothly without binding.

11.  Reinstall the Battery Pack and nail 

strip.  Check that the LED Indicator is not 
illuminated.  If the LED is still flashing, have 
the tool serviced by a trained technician.
