CHARGE - UNIT WITH LCD DISPLAY - MESSAGES
The display shows the charging cycle executed, the
battery voltage (digital voltmeter) and an estimate of the
battery state of charge (1 to 5 bars) in real time.
Possible occurring anomalies are indicated by the device
as follows: BC not connected to 220V, Battery not
connected, Battery Inversion of Polarity.
CHARGE - UNITS WITH LED BAR - MESSAGES
RED LED - ERROR MESSAGES
- Steadily lit: 220V input power missing (or device off)
- Slowly blinking: battery not connected to the unit
- Swiftly blinking: polarity inversion, short circuit or
empty/irrecoverable battery
RED LED + GREEN LED - BATTERY ANALYSIS FAILED
If the battery analysis gives a negative result, the red and
green LEDs blink alternatively: the battery is not able to
retain the charge, it may be necessary to substitute it.
GREEN LED – REGULAR WORKING CONDITIONS
- Recovery & charging phases:
The greed LED blinks slowly
The 4 LEDs that make up the LED bar below light up
in sequence from bottom to top: when the yellow
LED “100%” turns on, the battery is fully charged
- Desulfation phase:
The green LED blinks swiftly
The yellow LED “100%” is steadily lit
The 3 LEDs below light up in sequence from bottom
to top, to indicate the time-to-end for the desulfation
phase (less than 9 hours, 6 hours or 3 hours).

FAST BATTERY CHARGING -TURBO MODE
In order to reduce the charging time, you can exploit the
TURBO MODE
of BC PRO 4S, connecting more than one unit
of the device to the same battery. It is highly recommended to observe the limits indicated in the following table
according to the battery capacity/code. The table is also reported on the device itself.
INITIALIZATION OF NEW BATTERIES
At the end of the Bulk Charge (phase 4), when the yellow LED
“100%” is on or the LCD display shows the message “Battery
in… Desulf.”, the battery is ready for use: disconnect it
RECOVERY & CHARGING OF USED BATTERIES
At the end of the Bulk Charge (phase 4), we recommend to
execute the entire cycle of desulfation, which allows a better
reconditioning of batteries with a mild/medium sulfation
