parking brake.
2) Lower the rake completely.
3) Stop the engine.
4) Remove the ignition key.
5) Park the machine using wheel chocks.

Safety requirements for starting the engine
A safety device on this machine prevents the engine from starting unless the
following requirements are met:
a. Someone is sitting on the seat.
b. The parking brake is engaged.
c. The forward and reverse pedals are in neutral.
Sit in the seat.
Make sure that the parking brake is engaged. (The safety device prevents the
engine from starting if the parking brake is not engaged.)
Make sure that the forward and reverse pedals are in neutral.
Open the fuel valve under the fuel tank.
Pull the choke knob out. (Continue to pull the choke knob out until the engine
starts. If released, the choke knob will return to its original position.)
Set the throttle lever to a position slightly above the Low Speed position.
Insert the key and turn it clockwise. (Turn it to Start to start the engine.)
After starting the engine, push the choke knob back slowly.
Warm the engine at a low-speed for about 5 minutes without applying a load
to the engine.
Move the throttle lever up slowly to the High Speed position.
