Set each seal stationary (13D)

 LAPPED SURFACES MUST

BE UP

, in each seal housing, taking care not to touch lapped

surfaces. The seal stationary will now be resting on the o-rings.
Complete seat assemblies by pressing seats in place (see
Figures 10 & 11), using a clean carboard disc (part of seal
packing) and proper sized aluminum tool dimensioned in
Figure 9.  Be sure seal seats are installed squarely in housing.

Dip o-ring (72) in the cooling oil (Table 1). Remove o-ring from
oil, allowing excess to drain. Place o-ring in groove on inner
housing (61). Align threaded hole for Leak sensor in inboard
seal housing with hole in drive and bell. Press housing in place
and temporarily install two mounting bolts (67).

Place several drops of oil inside of bellows of rotating member
(13C) and spread it over bellows. Coat seal face with oil taking
care 

NOT

 to touch or nick it. Start rotating member (13C)

squarely on shaft and press with seal installation tool (Figure
9), until it is sealed. Install spring (13B) and retainer (13A),
compress and lock in place with retaining ring (66).

Remove the two temporary bolts from inboard seal housing.
Install o-ring (71) in end of inboard seal housing (61), See
Figure 11. Slide outboard seal housing (62) over shaft and bolt
down with four cap screws (67) and lockwashers (68).
