Remove the tile.
9.6 Replace a Solaris LD tile without back access to the display
Necessary tools
• 5 mm hexagon Allen key.
• Ratchet handle with short extension bar and 10 mm hexagon socket.
How to replace a Solaris LD tile without back access to the display ?
1. Remove the side cladding plate most close to the tile you want to replace. Use therefor a 5 mm hexagon Allen key to release
the four screws of the side cladding plate. (image 9-8)
2. Disconnect the power cable and the two data cables connected with the last tile in the row wherein the tile is located you want
to replace.
3. Remove the disconnected tile by releasing the four tile fixation nuts with a ratchet handle with short extension bar and 10 mm
hexagon socket.
4. Repeat step 2 and tree until the tile you wanted to replace is removed. (image 9-9)
5. Place the tiles (after servicing) one by one back in reverse order, fasten the tile fixation nuts and reconnect the cables.
6. Reinstall the side cladding.
