9.1 Safety instructions

Safety precautions
• Fence off a restricted area of at least 3 meters around the LED-wall using an eye-catching fence and “KEEP OUT” signs. This
to prevent unauthorized persons cominge near the LED-wall during servicing.
• Inspect the complete LED-wall for security, wear, deformation, corrosion, and any other circumstances that may affect the load
handling capability of the part.
• Do not modify and/or replicate any component. Barco uses specific materials and manufacturing processes in order to achieve
part strength. No other parts than Barco parts are allowed.
• Both hands must be free for servicing Solaris LD tiles in a LED-wall. Therefore the use of a ladder to access a tile is forbidden.
Only the use of a scaffold or a Z-lift is allowed.
9.2 Locate and access the tile fixation nuts, power socket and data ports
Locate and access the tile fixation nuts, power socket and data ports
The tile fixation nuts, the power socket and the data ports of an inserted tile into the Solaris LD display are easy accessible in case
the display has back access. But in case of a wall mount Solaris LD configuration those parts has to be accessed from the front of
the display during the installation process or for maintenance purposes. There are two ways to access those parts in such a case,
either via the side or via the bottom of the tile. There is sufficient free space at the rear lower half of the tile to access the nuts and
connectors. Nevertheless, without back access the tile fixation nuts and the plugs have to be inserted blindly.
