First operation
License pincode
Collect the envelope with the license pincode of your software features from the box of
the display unit.
Registration of your product
Register your product on the personalized webpage of barco to obtain license files for
your products (
https://my.barco.com/productregistration/
). All products can be
registered at once (but this is not necessary) and one license file will be made. In case
my.barco.com is not available, please contact Barco service at:

Install the license file
Copy the license file (filename: “barcoLicense”) that you obtained from my.barco.com or
from customer service to a USB stick (in the root). Place the USB stick in the USB port of
all the display units that you have registered on my.barco.com.
IMPORTANT
:
Only license files with a filename “barcoLicense” (case sensitive, no extensions) will be recognized by
the display unit. If you obtain a file which has additional information in its name (such as customer ref-
erence, serial number etc), please rename the file to barcoLicense for purposes of license upload, and
keep a copy of the original file for your records.
IMPORTANT
:
Verify that the USB stick used to register your product does not contain a RHDM software file (xxx.deb)
in the root. Software update always has priority, so it will always be executed instead of license
upgrade if the software .deb file is present.
The display unit will recognize the license file automatically. The following message
appears when the update is successful. The display unit will be accessible for normal
operation immediately.
