5. SETTINGS
The default situation is the selection of the internal reference carrier. Select in the
CONFIG
menu the
item CONFIG VIS CARR REF INPUT. Scroll with the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow until INTERNAL appears.
Confirm with
ENTER
.
However, it is possible to select an external reference carrier. In the CONFIG VIS CARR REF INPUT
menu one can select with the
UP
or
DOWN
arrow the mode: AUTO [STATE : INTERNAL]. STATE
indicates which of the reference carrier is used, the internal or external one.
Only if a reference carrier of 40 dBmV ± 6 dB with the correct frequency (39.8 Mhz) is connected to
the connector REF IN at the rear panel, the STATE indication will change to EXTERNAL. Now the
external reference carrier is used.
