13. Lamp House

13.2 Removal of the Lamp Module

ARNING

The Lamp Module is extremely hot during and directly after operation. Let the projector cool down

for at least 15 minutes before attempting to access or handle the Lamp Module.

ARNING

This procedure may only be carried out by trained projectionists or quali

ed technical service

personnel.

AUTION

Due to its high internal pressure, the lamp may explode in hot state if improperly handled.

Necessary tools

7mm nut driver or

at screw driver.

How to remove the Lamp Module from the projector?

1. Ensure the projector is switched off and cooled down.

2. Remove the rear cover of the projector. See "Removal of the rear cover", page 121.

3. Loosen the retaining screw (1) of the fan door and open the door (2).

4. Release the three retaining screws (3) of the Lamp Module. Use a 7mm nut driver or a
