4. Physical installation of the DB-220 Display

4.4

Mounting the top segment upon the bottom segment

This procedure describes how to mount the top segment upon the bottom segment. For the clearness of the
pictures, the clamps and the AEC-4000 are suppressed in the following illustrations.

Necessary tools

•

Adapted tools to lift the top segment.

•

15/16” open-end wrench.

Necessary parts

•

Sixteen bolts 5/8” UNC HEX (reference A)

•

Sixteen lock washers D16 2D27, type DIN 127B (reference B)

•

Sixteen plane washers D17 D30, type DIN 125A (reference C)

How to mount the top segment upon the bottom segment?

1. Open the four slide doors to get access to the guiding pins.

2. Lift the top segment above the bottom segment and remove the caps on both sides of the bottom segment.

Warning:

Wear a safety hat while assisting at the lifting and moving of the DB-220 display.

3. Take out the data cables and connect them on both sides of the DB-220 display as illustrated.
