 Starting operation

6.1   Requirements for the assembly site

• 

The assembly surface must be level and horizontal.

• 

 The instrument must not be exposed to splashing or flowing water or other 

fluids.

• 

The instrument must not be exposed to heat or direct sunlight.

• 

The instrument must not be able to fall from the workbench.

6.2   Attach polishing tip

 

 Attach polishing tip for left side of motor

 

 Personal:  Fachpersonal

  

1.  Motor shaft

2.  Clamp face

1. Push the polishing tip for the left side of the motor (Fig. 9/1) up to the stop

 

(Fig. 10/arrow).

2.  Tighten the clamping screw (Fig. 10/1) using a 2.0 mm hex key (not included in 

the delivery) on the clamping face (Fig. 9/2).

3.  Check by hand that the polishing tip is firmly fixed. ð The polishing tip for the 

left side of the motor is attached.

1.  Passing hole

2.  Motor shaft

3.  Mounting pin

1.  Push polishing tip for the right side of the motor onto the motor shaft 

 

(Fig. 11/2).

2.  Turn the polishing tip until the mounting slot (Fig. 7/1) is positioned over the 

mounting pin (Fig. 11/3).
