2.2 Environmental characteristics
2.2.1 Temperature specifications
Since the various system units can be combined with a display unit, there are many different possible configurations
with varying minimum and maximum ambient temperatures. An overview is provided in the following tables.
Information:
The minimum and maximum specified ambient temperatures for operation were determined under
worst-case conditions. Experience has shown that higher ambient temperatures can be reached in
typical applications, e.g. those in Microsoft Windows. Testing and evaluation must be performed on-
site by the user (temperatures can be read in BIOS or with the B&R Control Center).
