1.2. OPERATING MODE WITH DETECTION DEVICES (DIP 1 ON)
At power on the control unit sets both red lights and tests the limit switch input. As long as the limit switch input
remains closed, the operating cycle is locked and the lights stay red.
When the limit switch input opens (gate open), the cycle as described below starts:
1. both lights stay red for the time T1, adjustable with the trimmer TR1;
2. when T1 has elapsed, the first detection device to be excited controls the green light connected to it for the time
T2, adjustable with the trimmer TR2;
3. the green light time is reset each time the detection device is excited until the detection device on the opposite
side is free; otherwise go to point 7;
4. if the detection device is no longer excited, when T2 has elapsed, both lights turn red;
5. the lights stay red for the time T1. If during this phase an activation command arrives at the inputs, it is stored and
taken into account when T1 has elapsed;
6. when T1 has elapsed, the cycle restarts from point 2;
7. if also the opposite detection device is excited, the time T3 starts running, adjustable with the trimmer TR3;
8. when T3 has elapsed, the continuous reset of T2 is locked (due to repeated passage from one of the 2 sides);
9. when T2 has elapsed, both lights stay red for the time T1;
10. when T1 has elapsed, the other detection device responds to the green request and the cycle resumes from point 3;
11. when the limit switch input closes, the operating cycle is locked, but if a detection device is excited and the limit
switch opens within one minute, the cycle restarts.
CAUTION: It is recommended to always use the limit switch in order to be certain of the gate position.
If not using the limit switch, leave terminals 5 and 6 free.
4. when T1 has elapsed, the light connected to terminals “2” turns green, while the one connected to terminals “1”
stays red;
5. when T2 has elapsed, both lights turn red again for the time T1 in order to free the passage;
6. the cycle restarts from point 2 and continues until the limit switch input stays open;
7. the limit switch input closes (the gate closes), both lights turn red.
CAUTION: It is recommended to always use the limit switch in order to be certain of the gate position. If not
using the limit switch, leave terminals 5 and 6 free.
