Setup / Assembly
• Place the ultrasonic bath on a
fi
rm, level, dry surface, on a location away from direct
sunlight if possible. In the process
- Observe the maximum weight of the ultrasonic bath, including liquid.
For net weight, see technical data in Section 1.4.
- Observe the minimum distances for the incoming and outgoing air.
At least 5 cm on the side and at least 10 cm on the rear.
- Guard against moisture and wetness – risk of electric shock.
• The ultrasonic bath must be positioned in such a way that it is easy to disconnect
the power supply when required.

Commissioning
Thoroughly rinse the ultrasonic bath oscillating tank with water before its
fi
rst use.
Note:
All outer surfaces (and also the inner walls of the oscillating tank) are covered with
an oily preservative in order to protect the surface during transport and storage.
This should be removed with a suitable cleanser before
fi
rst use, see Section 5.
Connect the ultrasonic bath to the power supply (grounded socket).
To conduct a function test,
fi
ll and ventilate the oscillating tank in accordance with
chapter 4.1 . Brie
fl
y activate the ultrasound on the switched-on ultrasonic bath.
A hissing noise should be heard.
It is recommended that a foil test be conducted as part of quality assurance prior
to the
fi
rst use, see chapter 6.1.5.
Next, empty out and switch o
ff
the ultrasonic bath in accordance with chapter 4.4.
Hang the sample holder in the oscillating tank and place the lid on top.
