Bambi MAX Service Manual

– Models HL4000-HL9800 22

Checking Aircraft / Longline Wiring

The aircraft and longline wiring may be checked using the supplied test plug. Use the following test
procedure:

Install the test plug into the receptacle of the
helicopter wiring harness.

Power up the bucket circuit.

•

The left LED should be extinguished.

•

The right LED should be illuminated amber.

Actuate the bucket dump switch.

•

The left LED should be illuminated green.

•

The right LED should be illuminated amber.

Any other LED combination indicates that the aircraft is not wired correctly

If a longline is being used, re-connect the longline into the aircraft wiring harness and repeat the above
procedure for the receptacle on the bottom of the longline.
