BURNER CONNECTION TO THE BOILER
For burner handling, use certified chains or ropes suitable for the bur -
ner weight using the anchoring points (21).
CAUTION / WARNINGS
Make sure that the combustion head is long enough to enter the
furnace to the extent specified by the boiler manufacturer.
• Place on the burner coupling flange (19) the insulating gasket (13)
• Anchor the buffer flange (15) to the boiler flange (1) with the stud
bolts, washers and nuts provided (7).
BURNER OPENING HINGE
• The burner has an ambidextrous hinge opening for easy access
to the combustion head with fitted burner.
• To enable the maximum opening and so facilitate maintenance
operations, it is recommended to install the hinge pin on the side
opposite to the position where the gas train is installed.
If it is necessary to change the burner opening direction, proceed as
follows:
• Make sure that the screws and relevant nuts (11) that fix the venti -
lating body plenum chamber (15) are fully tighten.
• Attach a suitable and certified lifting structure to the lifting and
handling points of burner (21) for a safe operation.
• Loosen the hinge nuts (23).
• • Then remove the two pins (14) and the two hinges (17) with the
two support shims in this order.
• Reassemble all parts on the opposite side following the disas -
sembly operations in reverse order.
Use the specific chains or ropes connected to the respective anchoring
points (21) of the burner.
DANGER / ATTENTION
Seal the space between the burner sleeve and the hold on the
refractory material inside the boiler door completely with suitable
material.
IMPORTANT
Before closing the burner, connect the ignition cable to the
electrode terminal and secure it to the gas delivery connection
with a tie.
ACOUSTIC SHROUD
If it is necessary to reduce the sound pressure level, install a suitable
acoustic shroud. (see technical price list and contact the dealer) ).
