Analyse combustion gases and check that the emission values
are correct at least once a year, in compliance with current law.
Carry out the following operations at the end of the heating sea-
son:
• Clean air dampers, the air pressure switch with pressure port
and the relevant pipe (if fitted).
• Check the electrode condition. Replace them, if necessary.
• Have the burner and the chimney cleaned by specialised per-
sonnel (stove repairer); a clean burner is more efficient, lasts
longer and is quieter.
• Check that the fuel filter is clean. Replace it, if necessary.
• Check that all components of the combustion head are in good
condition, have not been deformed and are free from deposi-
ts deriving from the installation environment and/or from poor
combustion.
• In order to clean the combustion head, its outlet and compo-
nents must be disassembled. Be careful during the reassem-
bly operations to exactly centre the gas diffuser with respect
to the electrodes, making sure that they are not earthed, which
would result in the locking of the burner. Verify also that the
ignition electrode spark takes place exclusively between itself
and the perforated sheet metal disk (see combustion head and
electrode disk distance regulation diagram) for the version wi-
thout pilot.
• Analyse combustion gases and check emissions values.
If it is necessary to clean the outside of the combustion head, take
out its components according to the procedure described:
• Unscrew the anchoring screws -11, and open the ventilating
body;
• pull out the ignition and ionisation cables -14 from their electro-
de terminals-13;
• Unscrew the screw (-16) on the buffer (-17);
• pull out the entire mixer unit in the direction shown by the arrow.
• Having completed the maintenance work, replace the combu-
stion head, following in reverse order the operations described
above, after having checked the correct position of ignition and
ionisation electrodes.
• Unscrew the 4 screws -6 that retain the gas fitting/mixing group
-17 and then pull it back and remove it from the burner after the
extraction of the foot with centering and sliding wheel -20.
