Cooking
Do not leave the main unit
unattended during cooking.
Doing so may cause fire. When leaving
the main unit unattended, be sure to
press the power ON/OFF button to turn
the power “OFF”.
In particular, watch for completion of
cooking while preparing rice cakes or
oily food.
During and immediately after
cooking, do not touch any places
on the unit other than the handle
or the dials.
The unit is heated to a high temperature
and may cause burns.
In addition, the handle may also be
heated to a high temperature when the
product is continuously operated for
a long time or when cooking certain
types of food. In such a case, use a
mitten or the like to open the door.
Do not cook food for a time
longer than necessary.
The food being cooked may catch fire.
In modes other than the Classic mode,
follow the cooking time indicated in the
Instruction Manual or on the product.
In the Classic mode, check the state of
food while cooking.
Do not use the product with the
door open.
Steam may be discharged from the
boiler section, causing burns.
Do not heat canned or bottled
food directly.
Bursting or deformation may occur,
causing burns and other injuries.
During cooking, do not try to refill
the boiler section with water.
Doing so may cause burns.
Do not stare at the heater tubes
(upper and lower) for too long.
Doing so may damage your eyes.
Use a pair of tongs or mitten to
remove food or dishes from the
inside of the unit.
Failing to do so may cause burns.
When removing food, be sure to
press the power ON/OFF button
to turn the power “OFF”.
Failing to do so may cause burns.
Always install the crumb catcher,
toasting rack, and boiler cover
before cooking.
Failing to do so may cause burns, fire,
or malfunction.
Maintenance
Wear heavy gloves when
performing maintenance.
Failing to do so may cause injury to
hands or fingers.
