Gas mixer and gas consumption problems
The Invivo
2
300 workstation is fitted with a gas demand indicator (item 7 in Figure 9). When the gas
demand indicator is illuminated, the pressure is low in the workstation chamber. A shot of gas will be
injected into the workstation to raise the pressure in the workstation chamber. In normal operation,
the gas demand indicator should not illuminate more than once every 20 minutes when the
workstation is at rest. At rest is defined as the gasses are within Deadband and glove ports and SPES
are closed. Figure 37 gives a list of common problems related to the gas mixer and gas consumption;

wrist. Roll up sleeves of clothing and remove
jewellery
Refill the humidifier tank. See section 7.2.1, for
more details
Check the ICO

gas cylinder with a full cylinder
